Abstract: The hospitality industry is undergoing cross-sector integration and ecosystem restructuring. Traditional hospitality management boundaries are gradually blurring, forming deeply intertwined new ecological models with multiple fields. This transformation not only reshapes operational methods and service scenarios in the hotel industry, but also imposes new requirements on the knowledge structure and competency development of applied undergraduate talents. Based on comparative analysis of curriculum systems of hotel management major in domestic and international universities, this study identifies shortcomings in current course systems regarding update speed, interdisciplinary integration, and practical connectivity. In response to the industry's demand for interdisciplinary talents in digital operations and intelligent technologies, it proposes establishing a modular curriculum system featuring“shared foundational courses, modular specialization, and cross-sector integration”. The paper also offers optimization suggestions focusing on teaching methodologies, evaluation mechanisms, faculty, and curriculum, aiming to cultivate high-quality interdisciplinary professionals adaptable to the new hotel ecosystem and promote synergistic evolution between professional education and industry development.
