Abstract: Industry-education integration serves as an effective pathway for private universities to adapt to regional economies development and enhance their comprehensive competitiveness. The autonomous professional development of“dual-qualified”teachers is pivotal measures to achieving this integration. The study conducts a multi-dimensional analysis of the problems faced in the autonomous professional development of such teachers within private institutions. From the perspective of deepening industry-education integration, it proposes strategies including reshaping professional identity and developmental perspectives, enhancing practical industry capabilities, enhanceing innovative teaching transformation skills, and engaging in continuous reflective practice. These approaches aim to embed individual growth within the industry-education chain, thereby forming a concrete practical pathway that evolves from holding“dual certifications”to possessing“dual competencies”, and ultimately achieving “dual integration”.
