Abstract: Under the guidance of the New Humanities concept, traditional Japanese language teaching faces isues such as outdated knowledge and limited teaching methods. This paper explores the necessity and feasible approaches for integrating information technology (IT) into Japanese language teaching. By analyzing the current reform needs in Japanese education, it proposes strategies such as building smart classrooms, developing multimodal teaching resources, and constructing language skills training platforms. The research results show that IT can enhance teaching efficiency, improve students'language practice abilities, promote interdisciplinary integration and innovative educational models in Japanese language programs, and provide a reference for the high-quality development of foreign language teaching under the background of new liberal arts.
