Development of Childcare Courses that Align with Professional Standards—Taking the Co Education of Infants and Young Children in the Home as an Example

Abstract: In the process of professional development, the childcare service industry has put forward higher requirements for the abilities of practitioners. As an important basis for regulating the work of childcare positions, the connection between professional standards and the development of professional courses directly affects the quality of talent cultivation in childcare. The co education of infants and young children in the home is an important part of the curriculum for childcare majors. Whether the curriculum is tailored to the actual needs of vocational positions directly affects the targeted training of childcare talents. This article proposes a series of targeted curriculum development strategies based on industry professional norms. It is hoped that through the exploration and practice of these strategies, specific and feasible ideas can be provided for the optimization design of relevant courses in the field of childcare, so as to cultivate qualified childcare professionals who are proficient in the practical skills of home school co education, can quickly adapt to job requirements, and meet parents'expectations.
