Abstract: By integrating agricultural disciplines with foreign language disciplines, agricultural universities can enhance the quality of talent cultivation and promote the high-quality development of the “double first-class” Initiative. However, agricultural universities currently have some problems in cultivating interdisciplinary talents in liberal arts and agriculture. To address these issues, efforts should be made to construct a curriculum system that deeply integrates agricultural and foreign language education; build a composite faculty that is proficient in both agriculture and foreign languages; develop textbooks and teaching resources that are deeply integrated with agricultural knowledge; and establish internship and training bases with foreign universities, research institutions, and enterprises to carry out joint domestic and international training.
