Abstract: This article takes the major of intelligent water environment monitoring and governance as the research object, and deeply explores the talent cultivation system based on the integration of “job requirements, curriculum, skills competitions, and vocational certificates” . Through a comprehensive analysis of the job requirements, skills competitions, and vocational certificates of this major, and by taking specific courses as the starting point, it explores a talent cultivation system that is suitable for the development of the industry and the professional growth of students. Additionally, it proposes implementation guarantees measures, aiming to improve the quality of talent cultivation in this major, enhance students'employability competitiveness, and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents for the water environment field.
