Abstract: Against the backdrop of promoting traditional culture and valuing the employment of college students, the integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture and employment education has become an important direction for talent cultivation in universities. Based on the logic of policy coupling, value alignment, and problem orientation, this article points out that there are problems in the current construction of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic employment education, such as cognitive deviation in concept integration, lack of curriculum system characteristics, insufficient professional competence of teachers, superficial teaching practice, weak connection between practical activities, and poor effectiveness of educational transformation. To address these issues, an optimization path is proposed: deepening the cultural integration of the curriculum system, strengthening teacher construction, enriching practical activities, creating an immersive campus atmosphere, improving the quality of employment education, and cultivating compound talents with both cultural heritage and employment competitiveness.
