Research on Strategies for Enhancing the Teaching Ability of Young Teachers in Private Universities

Abstract: Private universities are an important part of higher education in China, with a large proportion of young teachers in their teaching staff. Improving the teaching ability of young teachers is of great significance for ensuring the quality of talent cultivation. This article analyzes the practical needs of improving the teaching ability of young teachers in private universities and explores some common problems among young teachers in private universities. In response to these issues, this article proposes corresponding improvement strategies from the macro level of schools, the meso level of teaching management, and the micro level of individual teachers, including improving the training system for young teachers, establishing a teaching supervision system, strengthening their own professional knowledge learning, in order to comprehensively enhance the teaching ability of young teachers in private universities.
