Abstract: From the perspective of the“three spiral”theory, the study of the mechanism and path of“specialized innovation integration”in engineering majors of local universities is an important topic for improving the quality of talent cultivation. This article analyzes the problems of the integration of specialization and innovation in engineering majors in local universities, exploring the correlation between engineering major education and“innovation and entrepreneurship”education in local universities, and using the“three spiral”theory with students as the center, this paper analyzes the mechanism of promoting the integration of local university“innovation and entrepreneurship”through“designing spiral architecture, strengthening internal circulation drive, building spiral network, and optimizing spiral guarantee”; We have proposed the path of“specialized innovation integration”in local universities, including“educational philosophy, faculty team, curriculum system, and educational mechanism”, and are committed to cultivating high-quality skilled talents that meet the needs of the times.
