Practice of English Teaching Reform in Higher Vocational Colleges under the Background of Industry-Education Integration

Abstract: In the context of deepening international exchanges and collaboratively advancing the“bringing in”and“going out”strategies, many higher vocational colleges have offered English courses, but the actual teaching effectiveness is not satisfactory. Strengthening school-enterprise cooperation, deepening the integration of industry and education, and cultivating more practical talents that meet the needs of social development and fully satisfy the actual production needs of the industry are the core tasks and effective ways of current higher vocational English education. At this stage, it is necessary to clarify the target requirements for English talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges under the background of industry-education integration, deeply analyze the current problems in teaching, and explore reform strategies to promote the improvement of English teaching quality in higher vocational colleges and further enhance the effectiveness of higher vocational education.
