Abstract: Green and low-carbon mining technology is the key path to achieving the “dual carbon” goal, and high-quality innovative talents are an important foundation for accelerating the technological revolution of green and low-carbon mining. This article deeply analyzes the necessity and challenges of innovation in green low-carbon mining technology, explores suitable forms of academic exchange for undergraduate students, and constructs a green low-carbon mining technology innovation reward system with the theme of “dual carbon”. By enhancing students'innovation awareness, cultivating their innovative thinking, conducting irregular academic activities, providing special rewards and funding support, and establish feedback mechanisms, high-quality innovative green low-carbon mining technology talents are cultivated, which has reference significance for undergraduate education in mining engineering majors in coal universities under the “dual carbon” goal.
