Abstract: University education is a crucial driving force for national development and social progress. With the expansion of undergraduate enrollment, the proportion of graduate students has also increased year by year. Exploring and constructing an effective “undergraduate-graduate integrated” training model is of great significance for ensuring the quality of talent cultivation. Developmental biology is a core course in the biological science major of the school of life sciences. The course is difficult and involves multiple interdisciplinary fields, especially experimental courses, which have problems such as outdated knowledge systems and unreasonable teaching designs, significantly affecting the achievement of talent cultivation goals. Therefore, it is urgent to reform the curriculum system, teaching content, teaching methods, etc, to meet the needs of talent cultivation in “double first class” universities.
