Research on the Path of Improving the Teaching Ability of Young Teachers Based on Teaching Competitions

Abstract: The strategy of building a strong country through talent emphasizes the equal importance of teaching and research, and the cultivation of young teachers is the key to implementing the“people-oriented”approach in universities. At present, the scientific research evaluation system is relatively complete, but teaching ability is difficult to quantify due to strong subjectivity. As an important measurement method, teaching competitions can not only stimulate teachers'teaching enthusiasm, but also quickly improve their teaching level. This article summarizes and analyzes from multiple dimensions before, during, and after the competition, exploring effective paths and implementation plans for promoting young university teachers to adapt to the teaching and research environment and enhance their teaching abilities through teaching competitions, providing practical references for the professional development of young teachers.
