Abstract: With the continuous innovation of educational models, teaching methods from an interdisciplinary perspective have becomed the key to enhancing students'comprehensive abilities and innovative spirit. Genetics, as a discipline that emphasizes both theoretical and experimental aspects, the traditional teaching model of a single subject can no longer meet the demand for innovative talents in modern education. This article analyzes the problems in the teaching of genetics courses and proposes innovative interdisciplinary teaching models to solve these problems. The interdisciplinary teaching model emphasizes the intersection and integration of knowledge, aiming to enhance students'innovation and practical problem-solving abilities.
