Abstract: With the development of the times, kindergarten education shoulders an important mission in the inheritance and promotion of Chinese excellent traditional culture. The purpose of this paper is to explore how pre-school education in colleges and universities can help the development of kindergarten's non-heritage game curriculum in order to improve the quality of early childhood education. By analysing the value of carrying out non-heritage game courses in kindergarten education, it argues the necessity of university pre-school education to participate in this course, and on this basis, it puts forward the principle requirements for university pre-school education to assist the development of non-heritage game courses, including based on the needs of young children's growth, strengthening the guidance of innovation and entrepreneurship, integrating high-quality educational resources, and focusing on practice and innovation. In terms of practical exploration, based on the shadow play as an example, the development of curriculum and teaching content, methodological innovation and implementation of practical activities, as well as the integration of resources and the establishment of a communication platform are explored, which provide theoretical support and practical paths for the effective combination of university pre-school education and kindergarten's non-heritage game curriculum. This study is of significant theoretical and practical significance for promoting the innovative development of early childhood education and the inheritance of non-heritage culture.
