Practical Paths of Interdisciplinary Teaching for Humanities Faculty Teachers in the Context of “The Belt and Road ”Initiative

Abstract: In the context of“The Belt and Road”Initiative, China's cultural exchanges and economic cooperation with countries along the route require a large number of interdisciplinary talents with international perspectives and solid professional skills. To successfully implement interdisciplinary teaching under this background, teachers need to enhance their awareness of interdisciplinary cultivation; liberal arts universities should adopt joint appointments within the institution; and relevant government should strengthen policy support and funding to assist in the establishment of interdisciplinary platforms. Universities should cultivate talents with interdisciplinary capabilities and international perspectives, thereby promoting economic development in both the countries along the route.
