Exploration of Blended Teaching Mode in Local Universities—Taking Mechanics of Materials Course as an Example

Abstract: As science and technology service and technology innovation bases directly serving local economic and social development, local universities should also highlight the application-oriented characteristics in talent cultivation, curriculum and basic discipline construction, and comprehensively cultivate engineering and technology application talents. Taking mechanics of materials course as an example, it takes cultivating students’mechanics and engineering thinking as the core task, relying on the blended teaching mode as the key means, and integrating the shaping of values into the teaching of knowledge and the refinement of ability. In order to comprehensively improve students'comprehensive quality in solving engineering problems, we lay a solid foundation for cultivating engineering talents with solid professional foundation and noble moral sentiments.
