Exploration and Practice of the “Three Rings and Six Steps” Embedded Teaching Model Based on PBL

Abstract: With the advancement of Chinese path to modernization, the development of online and offline teaching, and the popularization of project-based learning(PBL) method, there is an urgent need for the innovation of online and offline hybrid teaching mode. This article will explore the construction of the“three rings and six steps”embedded teaching model based on PBL, and propose the following practical suggestions in the implementation of the model:“project theme”is the logical starting point of the model implementation, and the project theme should be refined according to the requirements of fun, challenge, and interdisciplinary; The“project objectives”are the overall direction of the implementation of the model, and should be cleverly constructed in conjunction with the curriculum objectives and SMART principles; The“step by step”is the core content of implementing the model, which should be monitored in conjunction with students'pre class learning and practice, in class presentation, and post class reflection to promote high-quality development of talents cultivation in universities in the new era.
