Research on Innovative English Teaching Strategies and Methods from the OBE Perspective—Examples of Student-Centered Teaching

Abstract: In educational reform, diverse teaching models are gradually being applied in various levels of the education system. Among them, the core of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) philosophy emphasizes students'subjectivity, that is, encouraging students to shift from passive knowledge acquisition to active exploration, while advocating cooperative learning to promote the improvement of students’comprehensive abilities. This article explores innovative on English teaching strategies and methods from the perspective of OBE, with the teaching philosophy of“student-centered”as the core, proposing innovative English teaching strategies and methods from the OBE perspective, in order to effectively enhance students'comprehensive English application ability and learning experience.
