Abstract: The “1+X” certificate system is an innovative system in the framework of China's vocational education system, involving reforms in talent training and evaluation models, and has far-reaching impacts and significant implications for China's vocational education reform. As China's economic development enters a new normal, it faces the major task of transitioning from high-speed growth to high-quality development. Economic restructuring and transformation and upgrading are imperative, and the requirements for engineering talent training have also changed. The “1+X” certificate system has become an effective way to improve the quality of talent training, providing new ideas and directions for the innovation and practice of talent training models in applied universities. This article explores the integration of the “1+X” certificate system with electrical engineering talent training, optimizes existing talent training models, and constructs a high-level applied talent training model under the “1+X” certificate system. It proposes new measures for the reform of the applied curriculum system, the innovation of the deep integration model of industry and education, and the construction of a “double-qualified” team, providing a basis for the construction of electrical majors and talent training.
