Integration and Practice of Basic Courses of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students with SYB Training Courses—Taking Baiyin Vocational College of Mining and Metallurgy as an Example

Abstract: In the context of “innovation and entrepreneurship”, China continues to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship education, and basic courses in innovation and entrepreneurship are the core form of “innovation and entrepreneurship” education. With the further support of national policies for innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students, the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship courses has also been accelerated. However, there are still problems in the construction, such as incomplete innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum system, lack of teaching resources, rigid teaching forms, and imperfect teaching evaluation system, which have affected the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education. This article focuses on the basic courses of innovation and entrepreneurship for college students, and combines the educational advantages of “Start Your Business” or SYB entrepreneurship training to construct a new teaching model that integrates SYB entrepreneurship training with entrepreneurship basic courses. It is committed to cultivating high-quality applied innovative talents for society.
