Abstract: With the rapid development of agricultural technology, interdisciplinary talent cultivation has become an important strategy to meet the diversified needs of the agricultural field. In this context, this article conducts an in-depth analysis of the problems in interdisciplinary talent cultivation under the background of the new agricultural science, and proposes relevant solutions. The blurring of disciplinary boundaries poses challenges to the design of training programs, the singularity of teaching staff limits the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents, and the weak of practical teaching links and imperfect industry cooperation mechanisms also restrict the cultivation of students'practical abilities. In response to these issues, the article proposes measures such as strengthening disciplinary integration and innovation, emphasizing the interdisciplinary background of the teaching staff, strengthening cooperation with industries, and strengthening practical teaching to promote the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents, providing reference and guidance for vocational colleges to carry out interdisciplinary talent cultivation in the context of the new agricultural science.
