Abstract: The construction of the new liberal arts aims to accelerate the cultivation of humanities talents in the new era, comprehensively enhance the country's cultural soft power, and the new humanities construction also puts forward new requirements for cross-border e-commerce English courses. In response to the national call, combined with the school's development positioning and talent training goals, and considering the characteristics of cross-border e-commerce majors, exploring and researching cross-border e-commerce English classrooms in the context of the new liberal arts can lay a solid foundation for the cultivation of applied talents. This article analyzes the problems existing in cross-border e-commerce English courses under the background of new liberal arts, and proposes measures such as implementing talent training goals, strengthening the closeness between courses and employment needs, creating a student-centered multidimensional teaching model, and implementing cross-border e-commerce English teaching processes in ideological and political education courses to explore the construction of a new paradigm for cross-border e-commerce English courses.
