Abstract: The needs and requirements of the elderly continue to increase, and the traditional pension model has been unable to meet the diversified needs of the elderly, so the elderly pension model combining medical care has emerged. Under this model, the professional scope and requirements of nursing staff are further expanded, and they not only need to have medical knowledge and skills, but also need to have professional knowledge and skills in old-age service. This paper explores the training mode of old-age care talents under the background of the combination of medical care and old-age care. Based on the introduction of the main mode of combination of medical care and old-age care in China, it puts forward specific implementation paths, including closely connecting the old-age care industry and further optimizing the curriculum system; Promote business cross-training to achieve cross-domain knowledge integration; Focus on practical education to improve the matching degree of talent demand; Expanding continuing education and improving the channel of professional title promotion in order to constantly promote the improvement of personnel training system and promote the better development of China's pension industry.
