Practical Inquiry into the Teaching Reform of GIS Curriculum under AAU PBL Model

Abstract: An effective teaching model is an important guarantee for the quality of course teaching. The AAU PBL teaching model at Aalborg University is an effective teaching organization model that is student-centered, group-based, problem-oriented, project-driven, and in which the teacher acts as a facilitator, involving interdisciplinary teaching. Based on the AAU PBL teaching model, the geographic information system (GIS) course was reformed in terms of teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching evaluation, and teaching reflection, fully exploring effective ways of reforming GIS course teaching.
