Abstract: The course of urban and rural roads and transportation planning is the core course of urban and rural planning major. In the new situation of industry reform and educational development, the research group summarizes the problems in the course, proposes a curriculum reform oriented towards improving practical ability, and reshapes the teaching content to meet the needs of planning practice; Organize theoretical teaching with practical projects as the main line, and explore new ways of theory and practice; Using online resources as a platform to enrich teaching methods; Increase the proportion of practical application assessment through process assessment. Through curriculum reform, cultivate urban and rural planning talents with strong practical abilities and independent learning abilities.
