Reform of Practical Teaching of Public English Curriculum in Higher Vocational Education under the Background of Integration of Industry and Education

Abstract: The integration of industry and education is the main way to cultivate vocational education talents, and deepening the reform of vocational education curriculum is an effective strategy to achieve the integration of industry and education teaching. In the context of the integration of industry and education, the practical teaching of public English courses in vocational colleges is innovatively reformed, which enhances the attention of schools and students, enriches the content and methods of curriculum teaching, and improves its educational evaluation system, playing a role in helping students clarify future development direction. Starting from an overview of the integration of industry and education, this article analyzes the problems in practical teaching of public English courses in vocational colleges, and explores corresponding reform measures, aiming to provide some ideas for cultivating high-quality applied talents and improving the quality of practical teaching.
