Exploration of the Construction Path of Internship Courses in New Engineering Majors under the Background of Integration of Science and Education—Case Study of Environmental and Ecological Engineering in Qilu University of Technology

Abstract: Internship and practical courses are an important part of the teaching system for engineering majors, and a key way for universities to cultivate applied and innovative talents. The new engineering major relies on emerging industries in the country, and the construction of the professional curriculum system should emphasize the construction of internship and practical courses, reasonably position the characteristics of talent cultivation, build a multi-dimensional integrated curriculum system, encourage students to create and start businesses, make what they have learned useful, and generate strong engineering practice and innovation abilities that can support the development needs of emerging industries and the new economy after graduation high quality composite new engineering talents with international competitiveness. This article takes the internship course of environmental and ecological engineering at Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) as an example to explore the feasibility path of constructing a new engineering internship course.
