Exploring the Characteristic Construction of Clinical Teaching Bases in Local Medical Colleges under the Background of Medical Education Collaboration—Taking Chengdu Medical College as an Example

Abstract: Clinical teaching bases are an important component of medical talent cultivation and a “training ground” for medical talent cultivation. At present, there are some problems in the construction of clinical teaching bases in local medical colleges, mainly manifested as: insufficient collaboration and integration between medical and educational institutions; There are differences in the teaching level of clinical teachers; The main body of clinical teaching management is difficult to form a joint force; There are differences in the level of construction between clinical teaching bases. Based on this, Chengdu Medical College, as a local medical college, actively explores measures for the characteristic construction of clinical teaching bases from the aspects of coordinating the layout structure of clinical teaching bases, strictly controlling base access, promoting the “eight unifications” of bases, strengthening the construction of clinical teaching staff, improving the linkage mechanism of teaching quality control, and carrying out the construction of characteristic colleges and characteristic bases, in order to improve the quality of medical talent training and enrich the important connotation of medical education collaboration, establish typical examples for the construction of clinical teaching bases in local medical colleges.
