Abstract: Under the background of new engineering, deepening the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise collaborative education is an effective way for the sustainable development of applied universities, which is conducive to the output of university talents to adapt to the industry's employment needs, not only to cultivate talents urgently needed by the industry, but also to promote the accurate employment of students, and to achieve a win-win situation for the school and enterprise. Based on the demand for talents in the geographic information industry, this paper aims to cultivate compound talents and improve students'practical and innovative ability, and adopts school-enterprise cooperation methods such as co-building industrial colleges and internship bases, mainly researching on the long-term co-operation mechanism for the integration of industry and education, the teaching system, the practice system, and the teaching evaluation mechanism, etc., and explore the talent cultivation mode of geospatial information engineering specialised in industry-teaching integration to meet the needs of talents in new engineering disciplines.
