Abstract: Explore ways and modes of training top talents in art and design, and form a design talent training mode with special characteristics. Based on the modern apprenticeship system, a selection mechanism is established to select outstanding students to enter the design centre or design studio in the second year of college, to carry out the teacher-apprentice system in collaboration with the school-enterprise with the project as the leader, to carry out the teaching with the design process of the enterprise, to take the requirements of the commercial design works as the teaching goal, to expand the school-enterprise cooperation in the transformation of the design works into the market commodities, and to expand the works to take part in the design competitions and the innovation and entrepreneurship practice. It has formed the“industry-university-research-service-competition-creation”art and design talent cultivation model based on the modern apprenticeship system, and formed the“project design, skill competition, design integration”“three parallel”teaching methods, which has certain academic value and application value.
