Abstract: Objective To explore the application of multiple disciplinary team (MDT) model in clinical probation teaching rounds for endocrinology majors of undergraduate medical students. Method sUndergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine who were doing clinical internship in the department of endocrinology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into 35 in the control group and 35 in the experimental group by drawing lots. The control group adopted the traditional teaching round mode. The experimental group adopted simulated MDT mode combined with traditional teaching rounds. The differences of theoretical scores, medical history collection, student growth and teaching satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in theoretical knowledge achievement, but there was significant difference in medical history collection, student growth and teaching satisfaction (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of simulated MDT model and traditional ward rounds has advantages in cultivating students'ability of collecting medical history, promoting students'growth and improving students'satisfaction with teaching.
