Research on the Application of Performance Evaluation in the Core Curriculum of Preschool Education in Vocational Colleges

Abstract: Performance evaluation is an evaluation method that provides students with the ability to demonstrate learning outcomes and abilities in real situations, focusing on their performance in problem-solving, responding to challenges, and showcasing learned knowledge. Performance evaluation, as a competency based evaluation system, can promote the high-quality development of vocational education. This study aims to explore the connotation, characteristics, theoretical basis, and common types of performance evaluation, and propose the application of performance evaluation in the practical teaching of core courses in preschool education in vocational colleges, in order to enhance students'learning experience and effectiveness, and provide reference for the innovation of preschool education teaching models in vocational colleges.
