Research on the New Approach of Comparative Measurement about Students' Academic Progress

Abstract: The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out: "It is necessary to fully implement the Party's education policy, implement the fundamental tasks of ethics, develop quality education, promote education fairness, and cultivate socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development of moral, intellectual, and physical beauty". In recent years, more and more universities attach importance to academic counseling, and carry out various forms of academic activities. However, there is no effective method to consider whether the student's performance has improved. This paper used the calculation method of the overall progress of students in different grades for two consecutive school years as the starting point,mainly discussed a method for measuring students' academic progress.
