Practice of Curriculum Assessment Reform Based on OBE—Taking the Course of 3D Printing Construction Technology as an Example

Abstract: Aiming at the problems existing in the traditional assessment of 3D printing construction technology, such as emphasizing the results and ignoring the process, solidification of examination questions, and single subject of performance evaluation, this paper takes the idea of OBE (Outcome-Based Education) as the ideal and carries out the examination reform of the course: organically integrating the teaching content, using the Learning platform and its online course resources, and integrating teaching methods such as group case study reports, consolidating the “three-comprehensive assessment” method of all members, the whole process, and comprehensive assessment of the course, and quantifing the weight of each link, and establishing the assessment content based on comprehensive quality ability and the ability to connect theory with practice. In addition, through the assessment practice of the 2019 and 2020 intelligent assembly experimental classes of the School of Civil Engineering of Hunan University of Technology, the operability and effectiveness of the new assessment scheme have been verified. Also the teaching and learning of teachers and students has promoted, and the enthusiasm and initiative of students in learning has improved as well. The assessment method can provide reference for the assessment of similar courses.
