Abstract: Based on the current teaching situation of advanced soil mechanics in civil engineering graduate courses, it is proposed that the teaching content is relatively difficult and mainly focuses on theoretical explanations, the teaching method is relatively single, and there is insufficient teacher-student interaction, and there is a disconnect between theoretical teaching and engineering practice. Analyze and explore key links such as teaching Objectives, course tasks, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching teams, experimental links, engineering practices, etc., and propose optimization measures and approaches one by one. Gradually implement and apply various measures in teaching practice, providing a foundation and basis for building a higher soil mechanics curriculum system with professional characteristics.
