Abstract: The qualification evaluation index system of newly-formed university has clear requirements on school-running characteristics, but the existing newly-formed university are still in the transition stage from the initial stage to the mature stage, and most of the school-running characteristics are not clear or missing. In view of this problem, this paper puts forward the method of condensing the characteristics of running schools and the suggestions of strengthening the characteristics of running schools. Taking Jincheng College of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics as an example, this paper expounds the measures and effects in the course of specialty system, personnel training, teaching staff, teaching resources and characteristic activities.
