Abstract: Mechanical vibration is an important course for master of engineering. Analyzed the problems existing in traditional teaching, based on the characteristics and positioning of the mechanical vibration course, and in response to the need to complete their own research projects during the graduate learning stage, teaching objectives were formulated. The teaching reform of the course was elaborated on from the aspects of improving and optimizing teaching content, diversifying teaching modes and assessment methods, and evaluation methods for teaching effectiveness were discussed. Through the practice of teaching reform, graduate students can have a deeper understanding of relevant theories and better apply them to their own research topics. The teaching reform has achieved the expected results.
