Abstract: This paper proposes a cultivation mode,“project + tutor-lead team system”, for civil engineering and water conservancy degree students that is based on the linkage of specific engineering projects and is not compatible with the guidance provided by postgraduates under the dual tutor cultivation mode. The aim is to address the issue of the traditional single tutor cultivation mode being too narrow in terms of professional scope, limited in terms of thinking, and there is adisconnect between two mentors guiding postgraduate students under the dual tutor cultivation mode. By utilizing specific engineering projects as a link, we establish a university-enterprise tutor team, establish the management mechanism of a“tutor team”, establish a collaborative education mode, and provide“many to one”guidance to postgraduates through the tutor team, with a primary focus on fostering postgraduates'practical innovation abilities. The findings indicate that“Project + Tutor-lead Team System”has the potential to significantly enhance the scientific research proficiency of postgraduates in identifying and resolving issues. Furthermore, it can significantly enhance the range of postgraduates'professional abilities and broaden their scientific research horizons.
