Application of Online Open Courses in Blended Teaching Mode from the Perspective of Constructivism

Abstract: Based on online and offline blended teaching is an important form of future teaching mode, this paper analyzes the shortcomings of online open courses in the application of blended teaching at present, and puts forward that based on the constructivism learning theory, students should take as the center and make full use of the online course platform to create a social collaborative learning situation for students'learning, so as to integrate online and offline courses into a whole. Then, it introduces in detail the orientation of online open courses before, during and after course, as well as the core teaching methods of each process. This paper provides new ideas for innovative mixed teaching mode by adjusting the application form of online open courses.
