The Exploration of the Online and Offline Hybrid Teaching Model of College English Based on the WeChat Official Account

Abstract

Abstract: Confronted with the situation of decreased credit hours and large-class teaching, college English course is in urgent need of teaching reform. Based on the WeChat official account of“the Teachermate”, the online and offline hybrid teaching model of college English in the form of asynchronous SPOC introduces the mode of BOPPPS and changes the modes of teaching, the types of assignments, and the methods of evaluation. It not only provides the new ideas and operation methods to the teaching reform of college English course for the teachers, but also effectively improves the interests and English capacity of the students.
