The Role and Implementation of Field Internship in Botany Teaching

Abstract: In response to the insufficient emphasis on field practice in current botany teaching, this article explores the shortcomings of traditional botany teaching and the importance of field practice in botany teaching, with a focus on cultivating students' plant recognition ability, hands-on ability, learning interest, and environmental awareness through field practice. At the same time, this article also explores how to improve the effectiveness of field internships, and introduces the preparation before the internship, teaching methods during the internship process, and summary and feedback after the internship. In short, field internships play an important role in botany teaching, and carrying out field internships can help improve the teaching results of botany and students' comprehensive abilities.
