Research on the Cultivation of Innovative Practical Ability Based on Subject Competition—— Take the ICT Majors of the School of Information Technology, Xichang University as an Example

Abstract: According to the actual running of ICT majors in local comprehensive colleges and universities, combined with the measures taken by ICT majors in innovative practice education in Xichang University, this paper analyzes the main reasons for students' insufficient innovative practical ability. The paper explores the introduction of various subject competition projects into practical teaching, promotes classroom teaching reform and promotes teaching content innovation. It gives full play to the effort of subject competition resources through the“linkage between competition and teaching”to form an effective innovative practical teaching mode and improve the practical innovation ability of ICT major students in local comprehensive universities.
