Research on the Training Path of Innovative Foreign Language Talents in Colleges and Universities under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract: The introduction and implementation of the new liberal arts provides a new opportunity for the reform and development of foreign language education. As an important part of the humanities and social sciences, foreign language plays an indispensable role in the construction of the new liberal arts. At the same time, the cultivation of innovative foreign language talents in colleges and universities is faced with some problems, including the lagging concept of talent cultivation, the inconformity between the curriculum and the training objectives, and the simplistic model of talent cultivation. Based on this, this paper, starting from the background and connotation of the new liberal arts and combining with the current situation of foreign language talent training in colleges and universities, discusses the training path of foreign language innovative talents, with a view to providing a useful reference for the training of foreign language innovative talents.
