Abstract: Passing the certification of engineering education is one of the goals of engineering specialty construction in many universities in China. The characteristic of the basic course of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave for electronics majors is that there are many mathematical formulas and abstract concepts, which makes students feel difficult to learn, resulting in low interest in this course and unsatisfactory learning results. How to promote students' understanding of the electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave curriculum system and stimulate students' interest in learning is a common problem in curriculum teaching. This paper proposes a combination of reshaping curriculum content, using MOOC resources, increasing classroom simulation, and integrating curriculum ideology and politics to increase the interaction of teaching activities, expand knowledge, increase interest, and improve the quality of classroom teaching.
