Construction and Implementation of Innovative Engineering Practice Curriculum Group under the Background of New Engineering

Abstract: The Ministry of Education has put forward new requirements for the "entrepreneurship and innovation" education reform during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Innovation and entrepreneurship education has received unprecedented attention. However, the curriculum system of innovation and entrepreneurship education in most local colleges and universities is not sound, emphasizing entrepreneurship over innovation, emphasizing theory over practice and other prominent problems. Therefore, based on the resources of the comprehensive Engineering training center of Guiyang College, according to the new engineering construction concept and the implementation path of innovative engineering practice projects, this paper establishes the innovative engineering practice curriculum group, sets up interdisciplinary teacher team, and guarantees the system, funds and environment. The results show that it is effective in cultivating students' innovation spirit, innovation ability and engineering practice ability, which can provide reference for innovation education in similar local colleges and universities.
