Abstract: Compared with other universities' innovation and entrepreneurship education, energy universities have both common problems and special problems of industry universities. This paper expounds in detail the outstanding problems of energy universities in innovation and entrepreneurship education from the school level, teacher level and student level, and makes an in-depth analysis of the reasons behind the problems, specifically from optimizing the organization, establishing the concept of green development, improving the training program. From the aspects of consolidating teachers' strength, promoting practical activities and strengthening cultural construction, the new path of innovation and entrepreneurship education with its own characteristics has been explored.
