Study on the Strategies to Improve the Scientific Research Ability of Undergraduates under the Background of

Abstract

Abstract: With the building of "the Silk Road Economic Belt", it brings an opportunity to the development of silkworm industry. How to improve the competitiveness of sericulture major in current background, the core is personnel training. The most important period of personnel training is in the undergraduate stage, so it is important to train students’ scientific thinking and scientific research innovation in this stage. Our paper focused on the sericulture major of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and analyzed the scientific situation and the existing problems in current. Finally, a corresponding improvement strategy of training scientific research ability of sericulture major was approached according to the problems existed, psychological characteristics of undergraduate, and the characteristics of sericulture major.
