A Study on English Curriculum Reform in Vocational Colleges from the Perspective of Employment

Abstract: Employment is an important part of higher vocational education, but also an important direction of discipline teaching reform. College English, as one of the compulsory public courses in vocational colleges, plays an important role in cultivating students' awareness of employment. This article from the employment guidance characteristics of vocational college English teaching, analyses the current problems in vocational college English teaching, elaborated significance of vocational college English teaching reform, finally puts forward the employment orientation of vocational college English teaching reform under way, aimed at improving the students' employment awareness and deepening the reform of English teaching.
