Analysis on the Dilemma and Path of Promoting Rural Teachers' Professional Development——Based on the Perspective of PDS Teacher Education Model

Abstract: Since the promulgations of the Action Plan for revitalizing Teacher Education2018—2022), although the quality of teachers throughout the country has been greatly improved, there is still room for progress in the professional development of rural teachers. Therefore, the development of rural teacher exhibition industry can be promoted from two aspects: the improvement of rural teachers themselves and the construction of teacher development schools. From the rural teachers themselves, enhance their self-identity and add local knowledge in pre-service training; Starting from the construction of professional development schools for rural teachers, this paper tries to promote the professional development of rural teachers by imitating the British PGCE curriculum model, constructing integrated rural teacher education curriculum and encouraging universities to establish friendly and cooperative relations with rural schools.
